Thinking of having a pregnancy massage | Richmond pregnancy massage

Have you been thinking of having a pregnancy massage?

Pregnancy massage can be an effective treatment of back pain during pregnancy and it is also a lovely well deserved treat too.

If you are thinking of having a pregnancy massage I can highly recommend Debbie of Keheren Therapy.

Below is a video from Debbie showing what she does.

Debbie in an experienced therapist, based in Richmond and she provides pregnancy massage using the Hydrotherm system.

As a Richmond pregnancy photographer I would highly recommend spending some time here after or before your massage as it is a beautiful part of the country with so many beautiful cafes and areas to take a walk and enjoy the stunning surroundings.

Top of my list to visit on the next sunny day is Richmond Park where you can see the deer roaming free.

Other places recommended are Ham house, a walk or cycle along the river from the Richmond side of Richmond Bridge, Petersham nurseries, York House Gardens in Twickenham and Teddington which is a lovely little town only down the road with many beautiful boutique shops and independent cafes

My best friend treated me to a pregnancy massage and I can confirm it really is a treat and from a professional view the  National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) also recommend it too.

I hope massage helps you and here are some ways it can help.

  • Reducing swelling by improving blood and lymph circulation

  • Relieve muscle spasms, cramps & myofascial pain

  • Increase endorphin levels - Yay

  • Reduce anxiety and depression

  • Treat and release problematic muscle groups.
